Getting in touch with our body is a central element of working with anger. When we live only in our heads, anger builds up like water in a dam and we are continually spilling over the jammed up energy of anger. By letting our consciousness drop down into our body, we start to open the gates so that the energy of anger can find a natural flow once again.

Check right now to see if you can easily inhabit your body. If you are present in your body, it will be very easy to just relax and breath, and you will feel your whole body and being pulse with life force energy. For most people this is difficult. Most of us live as disembodied people.

When you are grounded in your body, the experience of body is always there as a background, earth like feeling. Rather than continually experiencing mental energy, you feel body energy. This is different than the ‘thought’ of your body…
